Grants
for participation
ISBE
Grants for participants from economically less developed countries
ISBE supports
participants from economically less developed countries with a total of
5000 euros. This grant is used only for covering the registration
fees (i.e. participants should be able to pay their own travelling
and accommodation costs). We have not strictly classified the eligible
countries, but obviously support is not granted for participants from
the current EU-countries, North America and their equivalents.
To apply
the grant, applicants should send
- curriculum vitae (degrees, positions, publications)
- list of international conferences attended previously
- justifications for the need of the support
to [E-Mail Removed] by 29th February
2004.
Please use “Grant application” as the subject
of your e-mail message.
Applicants
should also send their abstract using the standard abstract
submission procedure. However, the applicants do not need to register
or book their accommodation yet (the lowest cost accommodation
will be kept available for these applicants). The decision (by 30th April)
will be based mainly on the scientific quality of the abstract and the
justifications for the need of the support.
Partial
travel support for US citizens and permanent residents
ISBE American
Committee is offering partial travel support to US citizens and permanent
residents to facilitate attending the 10th ISBE meeting in Jyväskylä,
Finland. For details see http://web.unbc.ca/isbe/ISBEmeetings.htm
